Dashboards
Dashboards are video management reports designed to provide quick access to recorded video based on criteria that is important to you, but without the need to spend time searching through potentially large amounts of recorded video.
You can create any combination of up to three (3) reports on a camera-by-camera basis. These reports can be e-mailed to you once per day or can be accessed directly from the DVR, either locally or when connected remotely.
The three types of dashboard reports include the following:
- Incident Tracking Report - The Incident Tracking report is a video monitoring tool that provides you with a video storyboard of a specific incident at your site. This allows you to review at a broad level any incident that may require attention, such as a confrontation between an employee and a customer, a scuffle between two customers, or inappropriate behavior by delivery personnel. The report format offers 12, 24, or 48 thumbnail snapshots (based on your configuration) from your recorded video, as well as a list of additional snapshots from the time frame. Both the thumbnail snapshots and the items in the complete list are hyperlinked to data recorded on the DVR, so with a single click you can play the recorded video that is associated with any exception.
- Statistical Sampling Report - The Statistical Sampling report is a video auditing tool that allows you to monitor your site for policy and process compliance. The report provides a random sampling of thumbnail snapshots from your recorded video, allowing you to “spot check” your site for issues that may require attention, such as employee uniform compliance, store cleanliness, and potential safety violations (doors left open or unlocked, etc.). The report format offers either six (6) or nine (9) thumbnail snapshots (based on your configuration) from your recorded video. Each thumbnail is hyperlinked to the associated video, so with a single click you can play the recorded video that is associated with any snapshot.
- POS Exception Report - The POS Exception report is a loss prevention tool designed specifically to pinpoint anomalies in your point-of-sale processing. The report details exceptions for each camera/register combination, allowing you to review the recorded video that is associated with non-standard transactions. Exception types that can be reported on a per-camera basis include the following: Cancel Sale, Cash Out, Clock In, Clock Out, Coupon, Discount, No Sale, Paid Out, Recall, Refund, Training Mode, and Void. The report format offers either six (6) or nine (9) thumbnail snapshots (based on your configuration) from your recorded video, as well as a complete list of exceptions from the specified time frame. Both the thumbnail snapshots and the items in the complete list are hyperlinked to data recorded on the DVR, so with a single click you can play the recorded video that is associated with any exception.
